The summer festival season is getting closer and closer- time to start planning your outfits!

HOTPANTS are a festival staple. Celebrities like Alexa Chung and Kate Moss have been snapped many-a-time rocking a pair with their mud-soaked wellies at Glasto or Reading Festival.

JACKETS are an important item to consider. They can be an essential to stay warm/dry or worn to make an outfit stand out. Be sure to check the weather forecast before you head off to a festival. It will always pay to have an emergency poncho in your bag (see pic 7)!

FOOTWEAR. Make sure you take at least one pair of shoes to a festival. You’ll be on your feet all day standing, walking and dancing, so comfort is everything. If rain is expected, be sure to have a pair of wellies packed.

ACCESSORIES! Make sure you keep all of your belongings safe and secure. Handbags with zips are recommended. Pack a pair of sunnies to protect your  eyes, there are so many shapes and designs to choose from. Hats in hot weather are also an essential, the last thing you want is sun stroke. Glam-up your outfit by simply adding some statement jewellery or a flower-power headband.
